Programme Duration: 2 years

Intake: 20 seats (10 State Quota & 10 Management Quota)

Eligibility: Passed GNM Diploma from Recognized Institution by INC & state Nurses Registration Council / University / Board & State Government.

The candidates should be registered as registered Nurse/Midwife (RN/RM) with HP State Nurses Registration council, Shimla.

Bachelor Degree Program: Basic B.Sc. Nursing

Programme Duration: Basic B. Sc. (Nursing) is four years degree course affiliated to H.P. University, Shimla and recognized by Indian Nursing Council (INC), New Delhi, Himachal Pradesh Nurses Registration Council (HPNRC) Shimla

Intake: 40 students per year (20 State Quota + 20 Management Quota)

Pattern of Examination: Annual

a) Qualification: The Candidate should have passed the 10 + 2 or its equivalent examination from a recognized board/university with 45% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English (PCBE).

b) Age Requirement: The age of candidates should be between 17 to 35 years (as on 31st December of the admission year) or as directed by H.P. Nursing Council and INC (Indian Nursing Council) and at the time of admission Candidate should be physically/mentally fit.

Diplomoa Course: G.N.M. (General Nursing & Midwifery)

Programme Duration: General Nursing & Midwifery Diploma is 3 years Diploma course recognized by Indian Nursing Council (INC), New Delhi, Himachal Pradesh Nurses Registration Council (HPNRC) Shimla

Intake: 40 students per year (20 State Quota + 20 Management Quota)

Pattern of Examination: Annual

a) Qualification: The Candidate should have passed the 10 + 2 or its equivalent examination from a recognized board/university. Though preference will be given to Medical & Non-Medical Stream Students after that candidate from other streams will be considered.

b) Age Requirement: The age of candidates should be 17 (as on 31st December of the admission year) or as directed by H.P. Nursing Council and INC (Indian Nursing Council) and at the time of admission Candidate should be physically/mentally fit.
